Low developing countries is one of the biggest factors for not having their children study at school because of financial issues. Though school might be free, uniforms, stationery, transportation are not. This makes it easier for families to not educate their children and save money.

GDP - Some countries governments only spend a small amount on education, this leads to having low-quality education for students. Teachers that are not qualified may even teach.

WAR - 48.5 million children worldwide are missing school because of wars and conflicts. Nearly half of the Syrian school population are not attending classes and approximately 290 schools have been destroyed or damaged in recent fighting in Ukraine.

DISABILITY - Around 150 million children in the world live with a disability. 80% of them are in developing countries and nine out of 10 of these children do not attend school.

TEACHERS - There is a lack of qualified teachers this means that one in five children who attend primary school in Sub-Saharan Africa unable to read or write by the time they leave.

CHILD LABOUR There are about 168 million child labourers around the world. That is 11% of all children in the world who are working instead of learning. Because they focus more on working, they cannot afford the time to study or attend school.

NO SCHOOL - Parts of the world there are no schools. Children in the developing world are taught outdoors when the weather permits. Schools may not have desks or enough equipment. Around the world, there is an estimated 400 million school children without a desk.
